Architect with AECOM

Mahima Kanojia is currently a practising architect with AECOM. An alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, she has majored in Urban and Rural Planning. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. An artist by heart, she has a zeal for research writing and journalism; and writes about topics ranging from sustainable living to green buildings, biophilic designs, complete streets, history and evolution, and more.

She is also a Registered Architect with Council of Architecture, India; and an Associate Member of The Institute of Town Planners, India. Her research works on themes sustainable urban mobility, non-motorized transportation, accessibility planning, and walkability have been presented at prestigious conferences of Urban Transitions 2022 in Barcelona, Spain; and the 15th Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference-cum-Expo 2022, a flagship event held under the aegis of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India in Kochi, Kerala.
